Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 7, 2026

By accessing the RijSam Garage blog (blog.rijsam.com), you agree to comply with the following system rules. If you do not agree with these terms, disconnect from this network immediately.

1. System Access and Intellectual Property

All content, telemetry analysis, tuning guides, ECU teardowns, and visual assets (including the RijSam logo) on this platform are the exclusive intellectual property of RijSam Garage.

  • You may not scrape, copy, or redistribute our analytical data for commercial purposes without explicit permission.
  • You may share links to our articles provided proper credit is attributed to RijSam Garage.

2. Crucial Disclaimer: ECU Tuning and Mechanics

READ CAREFULLY: Automotive systems are highly complex and potentially dangerous. The information, tuning configurations, and teardowns provided on this blog are for educational and theoretical purposes only.

  • No Liability: RijSam Garage, its authors, and engineers are not responsible for any engine failure, hardware damage, voided warranties, or accidents resulting from applying the information found on this site.
  • Track Use Only: Many ECU modifications discussed here may violate local emissions laws and are intended strictly for off-road or track use.
  • Execute at Your Own Risk: Modifying your vehicle's backend systems (ECU/TCU) requires professional calibration. If you execute a bad flash, you are solely responsible for "bricking" your hardware.

3. Accuracy of Telemetry

While we strive for absolute precision similar to a German engineering lab, automotive specifications, software kernels, and market dynamics change rapidly. We do not guarantee that all data points, horsepower outputs, or tuning parameters are 100% accurate or up-to-date at the time of your reading.

4. Modifications to Terms

RijSam Garage reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of the modified protocols.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any technical or legal disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
